Gateman's Towers Kept Motorists Safe At Busy Crossings

Grade crossings are some of the most common scenes on layouts, so this tower is ideal for your steam- or diesel-era grade crossings. The Gateman's Tower is based on Milwaukee Road steam-era structures that lasted well into the 1970s. These eight-sided towers housed employees who watched for oncoming trains and manually operated pneumatic crossing gates and bells at busy street crossings. The structure includes a tool shed and storage bin, and each kit has parts for two complete sets of structures.
